Electroacoustic leak detection using ground microphone, search rod and tracer gas
The HL 7000 ground microphone system for electroacoustic leak detection is a modern device for locating leaks in drinking water networks (with a search rod and tracer gas). Its flexible design and automatic 360° sensor detection offer a wide range of applications. This adaptability allows leaks to be located precisely and efficiently in a wide variety of situations. Thanks to its powerful lithium-ion batteries, the system can be used continuously for over 10 hours, making it ideal for extended deployments.
Information about the HL 7000
A key feature of the HL 7000 is the Bluetooth®-enabled, wind-protected piezo ground microphone with built-in preamplification. This microphone is specifically designed to capture very low leak frequencies on soft materials like PVC or PE just as clearly as high frequencies on hard materials like steel or cast iron pipes. This versatility and the ability to accurately detect diverse frequency ranges ensure reliable leak detection under a wide range of conditions.

With the HL 7000 ground microphone system, you get a powerful and robust tool that, thanks to its advanced technology and sophisticated design, greatly increases the efficiency and accuracy of your leak detection.

Optionally with tracer gas sensor
Sometimes acoustic means aren't enough for pinpoint leak detection. The HL 7000 offers a flexible solution by allowing the attachment of a tracer gas sensor. Thanks to its 360° sensor coverage, automatic sensor recognition, and Bluetooth® connectivity, this is quick and easy. Simply attach the tracer gas sensor to the sensor rod and detect the hydrogen-nitrogen mixture on the surface.
  • Central data management
  • Proactive problem solving
  • Automated alerting
  • Adaptability and versatility

Latest technology
Thanks to built-in Bluetooth® technology, there are no more annoying cables between the control unit, the headphones, and the individual sensors. Noise from wind and cable contact are a thing of the past. This allows you to concentrate fully on the leak in the drinking water system.
Hear and see leaks: Histogram measurement
Simultaneous display of the current and minimum values
Ambient/noise cancellation
Long-term audio recording
Frequency analysis of the recorded sounds
Versatile filter settings with nine freely adjustable filter curves
Noise logger function: continuous measurement of 3, 15, 30 minutes
