The SDT200 is digital and intelligent
The SDT200 processes and displays data digitally. The onboard electronics allows using various types of sensors. When connecting one of these sensors, the device automatically switches in the appropriate measuring mode. Compatibility with external ultrasonic sensors and non-ultrasonic sensors.
The SDT200 with DataDump software
The SDT200 has a memory of 4.000 time- and date-stamped measurements spreaded over 100 locations and classified per sensor. The data are transferred through a USB connection by means of user-friendly software (DataDump) provided with the equipment. These data can be integrated directly in an Excel, Word or other program.
The SDT200 is available in ATEX version
The SDT200 detector is also available in ATEX version for potentially explosive environments, as are the flexible sensor, the contact probe, the threaded sensor and the headphones.

Flexible sensor
The flexible sensor is designed for handy and accurate detection of airborne ultrasounds with the SDT detectors. Its super sensitive ultrasonic sensor is mounted at the end of a flexible metal tube. This tube can be bent and shaped to fit your specific job. Its diameter is small enough to perform inspections through tight access holes and inside cabinets.
A rubber precision cone can be fitted on the ultrasonic sensor to increase the accuracy of detection and eliminate competing parasite noise. This allows a technician to quickly guide the instrument to the loudest point in order to pinpoint the detected problem.
This sensor is also available in ATEX certified version (Directive 94/9/EC).
ParaDish2 parabolic ultrasonic sensor
Working in combination with the SDT270 and the SDT200 devices, the ParaDish2 is a parabolic ultrasonic sensor designed to detect and identify ultrasonic sources at long range (5 to 100 meters).
The unmatched sensitivity and directivity combined with the precise optical viewfinder and the integrated laser pointer make it a very convenient tool for leak detection campaigns and partial discharge localization.
Made of robust ABS, the sensor is lightweight and easy to store thanks to its foldable arm and handle.
Air mass flow sensor
This is a thermal based mass flow sensor fitted with an incorporated conditioning and temperature compensation electronics can be used with the SDT receivers. The sensor comes with a flexible rubber for easy covering of leaks and accurate measurements.
The flow rate can be readout in either SCCM (standard cubic centimetres per minute) or in SCFM (standard cubic feet per minute). This sensor is meant for measurements up to 1000 SCCM.
EDS2 Extended Distance cone
Foreseen with a screw thread, this module can be screwed on the internal sensor of the SDT270 and SDT200 detectors and allows a better detection at distances up to ten meters with a good precision approach.
The EDS2 combines design and function to overcome the problem of distance. Using a optimised design it is calculated to focus only specific ultrasonic frequencies. Detection of airborne ultrasound is now possible from up to 10 times the normal distances of ordinary airborne sensors.
The EDS2 focuses both direct and reflected beams. It is very directional; however the parabolic sensor with laser sight provides better directionality and enables detection on longer distances.
Headphones for ultrasound detector
These noise isolating headphones allow you to work in environments with up to 130 dB A-weighted noise. Since they drastically reduce your perception of background noise, they let you focus on the sounds you need to hear. Depending on your needs, it is available in three versions: headband (with collapsible headband for convenient storage), neckband (for situations where the headband must not be in the way, for use with or without a helmet) and safety helmet attached.
These headphones are also available in ATEX certified version (Directive 94/9/EC).
Loudspeaker for ultrasonic detector
The SDT loudspeaker is designed for the SDT ultrasonic detectors.
Generally the loudspeaker replaces the headphone in measurement situations without noisy and disturbing surrounding sounds. It is a very easy tool for tightness testing situations where ultrasonic transmitters are used and for electrical inspection applications. It is equipped with a metal clip which makes it easy to affix on a belt or shirt pocket.
