Description

Use this practical kit to measure air velocity, volume flow, and air temperature at air outlets. The testo 440 multifunction measuring instrument and its vane probe are low maintenance, easy to use, and maximize convenience when adjusting air conditioning and ventilation systems.

testo 440 air velocity and IAQ measuring instrument:
 

  • No task is too challenging, no application too specific - the testo 440 combines a compact handheld measuring instrument with intuitive measurement menus and a wide selection of air velocity and IAQ probes (probes sold separately)
  • Clearly structured measurement menus - volume flow is calculated precisely, thanks to convenient inputs for the size and geometry of a duct's cross-section. Displays timed and multi-point mean calculation, average volume flow, current reading, and maximum / minimum values
  • Other practical measurement menus, e.g. long-term measurement, volume flow measurement with a funnel, etc.
  • Easy storage and evaluation of measurement data - internal memory for up to 7,500 measurement protocols, which can be read via USB port and further processed as a CSV file on the computer (e.g. with Excel)
  • Practical rear magnets for secure attachment of the measuring instrument to metal surfaces (e.g. ducts)
  • Automatic detection of probes, e.g. vane probe
  • Large, backlit color display


Vane probe (Ø 3.9") with Bluetooth and temperature sensor:

 

  • Use the vane probe to measure air velocity, volume flow, and air temperature at air/ceiling outlets
  • Measuring range: 59.1 to 6,890 fpm and -4 to +158 °F
  • Versatile - the universal handle can be connected to all probe heads, so you can take care of more applications, and use less equipment
  • The Bluetooth handle makes it more convenient to carry out your measurements and guarantees less cable clutter in your case - it transmits readings to the testo 440, from up to 65 feet away
  • Practical button on the handle - to store individual readings for multi-point mean calculations, or to start and stop measurement series for mean calculations over time
  • Carry out measurements at air/ceiling outlets effortlessly, without using a ladder - fit the vane probe with the extendable telescope and 90° angle (both sold separately)
  • Use the vane probes in conjunction with the testovent measurement funnels and flow straighteners to test incoming / outgoing air at plate outlets, ventilation grills, and swirl outlets
  • Intelligent calibration concept - the testo 440 remains in continuous use, since only the individual probes need calibration
