The Seaward PV100 photovoltaic installation tester is the worlds first handheld multifunction tester specifically designed for use on PV systems. Testing to MCS requirements, the Solar PV100 Tester is able to connect directly to all standard PV modules, strings and arrays using the MC4 test adaptors or Sunclix connectors provided within the kit. This method of testing means no live DC conductors are exposed so that the test can be safely controlled. Measurements are displayed on the large backlit screen and data for up to 9 PV strings can be stored on the internal memory for later review and analysis. The Seaward Solar PV 100 offers automatic comparison of voltage and current measurements between PV strings and provides an on-screen warning if the variation exceeds 5%. All test connections are automatically configured within the PV100 tester so that solar PV modules remain undamaged. Overall this product is a fantastic, easy to use and safe piece of Solar PV test equipment.
