Description

Rising fuel costs for thermal systems highlight more and more the need for efficiency monitoring using emission measurements. A practical, easy-to-use emission analyser for a variety of applications is therefore ideal. A compact design combined with reliable engineering makes the Testo 340 the suitable analyser for commissioning, service and maintenance work as well as measurements for monitoring purposes.

 

More reliability, more convenience and even more parameters…

The Testo 340 is equipped with an O2 sensor as standard. Three additional sensors such as CO, COlow, NO, NOlow, NO2 or SO2 can be individually configured at any time. This guarantees highest flexibility when adapting to changing applications and measurement jobs.

The Testo 340 must be equipped with a second gas sensor otherwise the analyser cannot function.

The automatic sensor protection

The measurement range extension for high gas concentrations protects the CO, COlow, NO, NOlow and SO2 sensors. In measurements on unfamiliar systems or under less ideal operating conditions, unexpectedly high emission values (e.g. CO concentrations up to 50,000 ppm) can occur. In these cases, the measurement range for a single sensor is automatically increased by 5 times. The sensor is not stressed any more than it would be at low concentrations. The sensors retain their maximum life time. The optional dilution of all sensors (factor 2) offers even more flexibility.

Different probe shaft lengths, diameters and temperature ranges ensure high flexibility for all applications.

The Testo 340 is the ideal tool for service, maintenance and inspections

  • The Testo 340 allows efficient commissioning, tuning, efficiency optimization and troubleshooting when servicing industrial burners. The robust housing with impact protection enables the use in the rough daily work.
  • The Testo 340 supports inspections and tuning work on stationary industrial engines. The separate NO and NO2measurement allows a real NOmeasurement. The highly-resistant flue gas probes for industrial engines are specially designed for this application.
  • To reduce emissions from gas turbines, CO and NO measurements using Testo 340 in low ranges are necessary. The COlowand NOlow sensors are ideally suited to this task.

Data interfaces

It is easy to control measurements, read out, transfer and print measurement data. These data interfaces are selectable for easy communication and data transfer:  

  • Bluetooth® 2.0 (up to 10 m without obstruction)
  • USB
  • Infrared interface (Communication with the Testo printer)

With the software "EasyEmission" you are able to read out, edit, archive and manage the data.
